Emirates launches daily A350 flights between Dubai and Muscat ahead of schedule

Emirates has commenced a daily regular service from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Muscat International Airport (MCT).

The deployment of the next-generation A350 to Muscat, originally slated for July 1, 2025, was brought forward by a week.

The three-class aircraft offers 312 seats with 32 lie-flat seats in Business Class arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 setup, and 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout. 

Emirates has so far welcomed seven A350s to its fleet, and by the end of 2025 it is expected to serve 17 destinations across its network.

Muscat is among the first few cities in the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) region to receive Emirates’ next-generation A350, joining a growing network that includes locations such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam and Amman as well as other points like Edinburgh, Mumbai, Tunis, Colombo and Ahmedabad. 

The daily Dubai to Muscat flight runs on the following schedule:

Flight EK 866 departs Dubai 02:15 local time,  arrives Muscat  03:30 local time

Flight EK 867 departs Muscat at 04:40 local time, lands in Dubai 05:55 local time

To meet the increased demand for summer travel, Emirates has also added two more weekly flights between Dubai and Muscat, operating flights on Thursdays and Saturdays:

Flight EK 862 departs Dubai 07:55 local time,  arrives Muscat at 09:05 local time 

Flight EK 863 departs Muscat 11:25 local time, lands in Dubai at 12:30 local time
