Emirates boosts Barcelona service with a third daily flight starting Oct 2025

Emirates has announced that it will be bolstering its services to Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), adding a third daily flight from October 26, 2025.

On top of meeting market demand, Emirates claims that the added flight will offer its customers better connections and access to popular destinations across its network including Maldives, Bangkok, Bali, Hong Kong and Singapore.  

According to BCN Airport, the new daily flight will be operated with Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ERs. 

Emirates currently serves Spain with 28 weekly flights utilising a fleet mix of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, including: 

  • 14 weekly flights to Madrid; 
  • 14 weekly flights to Barcelona 
  • Seven weekly flights from Dubai to Mexico City via Barcelona

Emirates’ services from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Barcelona Airport operate on the following schedules:

OUTBOUND:

Flight EK 255 (B777) departs Dubai 03:45 local time, arrives Barcelona 08:15 local time

Flight EK 185 (A380) departs Dubai 08:15 local time, arrives Barcelona 12:50 local time

Flight EK 187 (B777) departs Dubai 14:00 local time, arrives Barcelona 18:35 local time

INBOUND:

Flight EK 256 (B777) departs Barcelona 15:10 local time, arrives Dubai 00:35 local time next day

Flight EK 186 (A380) departs Barcelona 15:30 local time, arrives Dubai 01:00 local time next day

Flight EK 188 (B777) departs Barcelona 20:25 local time, arrives Dubai 05:55 local time next day
